February 10th - Lisa Bonet - The Director
Did you know, besides being a practicing yoga instructor an amazing actress, model, she directed multiple music videos? She directed the video for Milla Jovovich of the very Kate Bush sounding song “Gentlemen who fell” song. Apparently Milla wasn’t happy with the video so they made another more artsy one. The one Lisa directed is very 90’s and features Harry Dean Stanton, It’s really well done
Lisa was born on November 16, 1967, in San Francisco, California, to Allen Bonet and Arlene (née Litman). Her opera singer father is an African-American while her mother is an Ashkenazi Jew who was by profession a teacher.
You could also say she was married to a hottie named Lenny Kravitz who she had a daughter with named Zoe and to another hottie named Jason Mamoa, but let’s be real, she’s the real hottie. She also had a risqué photo of her appearing nearly naked on the cover of Rolling Stone. Years later, her daughter Zoe did a similar recreation on the cover of Rolling Stone.
