Bay Area Black History - Oakland Black Cowboy Association in October, the OBCA hosts a parade around Oakland. they stride down the street of Oakland on horseback. last year, they celebrated 50 years of doing so. they are an atestement to the rich history of Black Cowboys and old west black towns from years ago. I look forward to watching them this year trot down the urban streets of Oaktown.
